Moodles are usually small with thick, fine, and wavy coats—which come in either shades of apricot, brown, silver, black or white. They are usually small to medium length, and depending on the parents, Moodles are usually between 3-8kg and 25-30cm in height. They can live up to 15 years.
Just like all the other poodles, Moodles can be quite affectionate and playful. They love being around people and join in all the families’ activities. They don’t have a problem with living in smaller homes or apartments. They are also very intelligent. In fact, they enjoy regular training and human interaction. However, they sometimes have a high tendency to bark. Moodles should be taken for walks on a regular basis to keep their mood under control.
Moodles rarely shed, making them tolerable for people with allergies, but their coats need to be maintained by a professional ideally every six weeks. At home, their coats should be combed and brushed regularly. Their eye and ears should also be religiously cleaned to prevent infection.
The Moodle dogs are the product of crossbreeding a Maltese and a Poodle. They are bred to minimise possible genetic diseases from both parents and to ensure healthier pups.
